Indo Canadian Adventist Church

Begining this sabbath the Indo-Canadian church members will join hands with the, S.H.I.N.E. group of the Surrey Church and go to houses in the Surrey area visiting “The Sikh community,” distributing “Bibles”, giving Bible Studies to people who requested them, and make new contacts.

Coming this November on the 21 to the 23 the Indo-Canadian Church have invited Professor Ian Chand of the S.D.A. Loma Linda University to conduct a seminar on “Family Life”, and explain why so many families have broken relationships and how can we avoid or restore them. Soon a detailed summary will be mailed and posted on the website.

I apologize for not updating the website for some time. But as of last month the Indo-Canadian SDA Church is changing its plan as to how we can spread the gospel. Here is a gist of the plan and the upcoming events for this year.

1. We received a list of the Indo-Canadian people who received the Voice of Prophecy lessons handed by the members of the Surrey Church. Rajinder Mann contacted these people with a little success.

2.Mrs & Mr. Ray Vedamani have been a great blessing to the Indo-Canadian Church they have contacted many people and so many people want them to pray for them and their family. What we need is the prayers of everyone and anyone.

3. Drs.Ian and Shirani De-Alwis - Chand from the Loma Linda Universities will be coming in November to do a series on Family Matters for the Indo-Canadian Church.

4. The Indo- Canadian church does a prayer band on Saturday’s and we fast on the 3rd Sabbath for the list we have so that God can soften the hearts of people to hear the message of God.

Come , bring a friend to enjoy the spiritual blessing  on the sabbath of March 14, 2009 by brother Arjun presenting,” Ephesians 2:8-10. Explaing God’s Grace, His Character and Will.

This sabbath brother Ray will be presenting ,”Vegetarian Vs Non-Vegetarians.” Come and discover the wealth of knowledge that the Bible has to offer. The last two sabbaths Mr. Balwant , What the Bible says about ,”Hard Work”, and ,”Laziness”. It was very encouraging to hear what the Bible says and how we are to work and the consequences of being lazy.

Mr. Mann will be presenting the, “The Second Coming of Christ”, this Saturday. Last week the Indo-Canadian sda Church Group joined hands with the Surrey Church for the, “ All Power Seminar”, and  it is very exciting that we have Mr. Aman from the sikh community who comes pretty regularly to church, and another Mr. Piyara Singh who came because his brother in law recommended him to attend a church so that he can find peace and help out of his problems in life.

So it is exciting to know how God leads people to Him. Please pray for us so that we the Indo-Canadian church can be a small reflector of Jesus’ light.
